These are from a recent kitchen
remodel. The old kitchen used space
very inefficiently. It was outdated and the
homeowner's needed more cabinet space.
In this first picture we eliminated the
oven & cook top. We also removed
the old exhaust fan (upper left, 1st pic), which
opened up the space for more cabinets.
In these pictures the layout was similar,
but by going to a microwave/range hood,
they were able to add an extra upper
cabinet.
A big obstacle to space efficiency was these
two very large windows. The one took up
precious wall space and only
offered a view of the driveway. So we reduced the
size of the back window to maintain the light, but freed up
the opposing wall for more cabinet & counter space.
